MANITOU SPRINGS, CO - Hair Consultant candidate Donna Ward gained another key endorsement when Bud Ford Jr. endorsed the former café owner outside her campaign headquarters in downtown Manitou Springs.

Ford Jr.'s public support is seen as a boast to the Ward campaign because of Bud's political ties to his father, Bud Ford (former Manitou mayor), and his mother, Donna Ford (Manitou Councilwoman). Ford gave his wholehearted support and assured Donna that he would deliver all "family votes" to Donna.

"Donna rocks. I know she looks after you … and she should be your Hair Consultant." exclaimed Bud, "I want to see your hair grow really long and Donna will do the best job to get you there."

"As someone who is bald myself, I am supporting Donna. I want your Hair Consultant to be someone with hair, so Boki is out of the question."

In fact, Ford briefly removed his hat and exposed his receding hairline to prove his point, but quickly placed his hat back on his head, fearing Steve might take a picture of his exposed head and publish it on this web site.

Donna, who very pleased with the announcement, briefly stated, "Bud is a really neat guy." Donna said.

"I must say, Monday, when I was with Jackie, was the first day when I actually got to know Bud in his shop ... and he is a masterful dulcimer player!" shared Steve.

Bud's endorsement appeared to energize Donna's campaign for Hair Consultant. On that same day, Donna worked hard at shaking hands with many sidewalk pedestrians and told them all about Steve's web site.

One gentleman named Tuppercullum (a Scotish name), was impressed with Donna's friendliness and pledged his vote to Donna. "This is great. You've got my vote, Donna."
