"Alamosa Girl" Touts Herself as the LOCAL CANDIDATE!
March 12, 2003
COLORADO SPRINGS, CO - Alissa "AlamosaGirl" Rusk is promoting
herself as the local Colorado candidate in this year's
Hair Consultant election campaign.
Alissa is a lifelong Colorado native who lives
in Alamosa and studies full-time at a college in
Colorado Springs. She is claiming she is the best
candidate for Hair Consultant because she has
spent the most time with Steve, unlike her two opponents.
"This web site is COLORADOGuy
and I am the only one who actually lives in Colorado." stated Alissa in the chat room.
"I spent the most time with Steve in person … my Mom even cooks him food sometimes."
After beginning her Hair Consultant campaign, Alissa
even visited Spice of Life Café in Manitou Springs, a local
morning hangout to meet Steve's friends and greet potential voters.
"I know being Hair Consultant is going to be a tough
job as it is … (Steve) might as well have someone who
lives close to him." she contended.
AlamosaGirl Announces Slogan: STEVE'S CURLS ... OH THE POTENTIAL!
March 12, 2003
COLORADO SPRINGS, CO -
As part of a recent campaign blitz to capture the attention of the
ColoradoGuy community and potential voters throughout the world,
Hair Consultant candidate Alissa "AlamosaGirl" Rusk
announced
her offical campaign slogan: Steve's Curls: OH THE POTENTIAL!
"I've seen Steve's long hair in person and it's got so much potential."
Alissa wrote in a recent e-mail, "Imagine what your hair will be like in three years.
It's going to be gorgeous!"
Public reaction to AlamosaGirl's new slogan seem to be mainly positive.
"I think that is a great slogan, (Alissa is) always looking for the best
in things, so she should be able to get the best out of Steve's hair." stated Terrill Covey an undecided voter who lives in Newmarket, New Hampshire.
"That slogan pumps me up. It gives me vision … It gets me optimistic
about growing my hair out really long." said Steve "ColoradoGuy" Garufi, with excitement.
Many pundits believe AlamosaGirl's campaign slogan might be even better than "Don't be wishin' Vote for Christian!"
the slogan of Christian Stewart, one of her opponents.
"Oh my slogan is definitely better. This election is about Steve's Hair, not promoting myself." Alissa contended.
