MANITOU SPRINGS, CO -- Dr. Jon Westcott, a local psychiatrist known for his very healthy dietary habits of drinking maté daily and making waffles from scratch with whole grains, has announced his candidacy for Hair Consultant.

Dr. Jon offered no campaign platform or slogan and knows absolutely nothing about taking care of long, naturally curly hair, but desires to use his candidacy to promote issues such as eating healthy.

"I realize I won't win, but I want to get the message out. Steve, you could probably eat a little better yourself." said Dr. Westcott, as he showed off his new bonsai tree in his Manitou Springs home. (See photo below)

Dr. Jon was first photographed on this web site when he showed Steve how he makes waffles from scratch in which he used a large hand-operated grinder. (See adjacent photo) Dr. Jon and Steve also went kayaking on Turquoise Lake near Leadville last Spring.

Dr. Jon was also involved in a memorable ColoradoGuy video clip last year when upon seeing an unruly driver, he shouted, "Whoa! That guy should be on medicine!"
