Guys! The Olympic Torch came through Manitou Springs this morning! I confess I didn't think it would be a big deal, but it was such an amazing event! |

The torch was placed inside the gazebo at Soda Springs Park during a brief ceremony. |

And this gentleman - I know nothing about him - when he carried that torch it was really special! |

Early on, I ran into Lisa, Erica and Joel. Erica, in the middle, is the one who made fun of me for writing my Christmas cards in October. |

I ran into lots of people, as you can see. Ugh, I forgot their names, but that's Boki's wife and Japhy, and a young girl who's visiting. |

All I will say is, Manitou Springs has some freaky-looking people! :) |
