GUFFEY, COLORADO: Elevation: 8,600 Feet (Park County) - February 2003
Guffey, Colorado! Nestled in the hill country of South Park county. The closest landmarks are Eleven Mile Resevoir, Hartsel, Cripple Creek and Canon City.
That's one of two antique shops in town. Definitely go in there ... cool place!
Rotted out cars seems to be part of the scenery around town. Hey, it gives the town character! ;)
Oh! That antique shop had all sorts of stuff including a line of antique bath tubs sitting outside!
That's the auto repair place in town.
Oh! See this chicken logo? That's a bumper sticker promoting Guffey's annual "Chicken Fly" festival where do all sorts of stuff with chickens including uhhhhhh, trying to make them fly!
By the way, it was so freakin' cold out there, probably as freezing as the night at Seven Falls.

I'VE HAD IT WITH WINTER! :(
The Guffey Post Office! :)
Another beat-up old car!
The other antique shop had a whole bunch of restored horse carriages. If you're into that, Guffey might be worth a visit!
Check out the red light bulbs in this cattle skull!
Look! An old fire truck! I ain't kidding you ... there's junkers EVERYWHERE! :)
:)
On the way back towards Teller County...
...then I turned and thought this was a nice view. I think that's Mt. Pisgah, which is close to Cripple Creek.
