HELEN HUNT FALLS in North Cheyenne Canyon (Colorado Springs)
April 29, 2004

Helen Hunt Falls!

Yesterday morning I "snuck out" of work and drove to Helen Hunt Falls in North Cheyenne Canyon in Colorado Springs. Below is the waterfall and social trail...

Hooray!

Let me tell you, it was *SO NICE* to sneak out of work and take pictures! ;)

Other waterfalls:
  • Rainbow Falls (Manitou Springs, CO)
  • Cascade Falls (Ouray, CO)
  • Horsethief Falls (Teller County, CO)
  • I love the sound of running water, don't you? :)
Kind of reminds me of Fountain Creek in Manitou Springs.
Uh, that was me standing on the bridge. ;)
You can walk up a short path from the top of Helen Hunt Falls with these views...
...and then you'll get a nice view of Mount Cutler and Colorado Springs in the background. Remember, this is nothing more than a 10 to 15 minute walk from the parking lot.
    Oooooooooooh!

    Look at this pretty flower!
And last but not least, a yucca plant! I think they're in the cactus family if you ask me! ;)
