MANITOU SPRINGS, CO -- Missy of Portland, Oregon, was officially inaugurated as Hair Consultant this weekend at the Ward residence in Manitou Springs. is the 8th Hair Consultant in Steve Garufi history.

Missy replaced Hair Consultant Dawnn, who served in the high-pressure position and received a lot of public scrutiny from the ColoradoGuy community throughout the year. However, from the outset, emphasized her intention to have a "more low-key administration," and will greatly limit press releases to the public.

The Era of Pony Tails is Over

Missy 's first act in office was to declare a "complete termination" of Steve's occasional use of wearing his long, naturally curly hair in a pony tail. In a dramatic and emotional scene, the long-haired brunette with red highlights disposed of every pony tail band in Steve's apartment.

"The era of Steve selling out by wearing a pony tail is over…" Missy declared, "As hair consultant, I am going to fight for what's right and Steve is going to let his dark, licorice curls hang down no matter where he is. If people have a problem with that, then they can come to me."

Missy was chosen by Steve to finish Dawnn's term which expires in April 2002.
