Strawberry Cream Cheese Placed on Sesame Bagel!

Steve Admits Having "Weak Moment" - Friends Express Outrage! (October 21, 2005)

COLORADO SPRINGS, CO -- Steve "ColoradoGuy" Garufi had a shamefully "weak moment" today when he ordered strawberry cream cheese to compliment his sesame bagel at a local Dunkin' Donuts franchise.

Soon after, the allegation of hypocrisy was hurled at Steve, who has frequenlty criticized many foofy things such as pink furniture, butterfly cookies at Starbucks and adding creamers, whipped cream, sprinkles and other kinds of crap in people's coffee drinks.

"Strawberry!? What were you thinking!? That's such a foofy thing to do. I had so much faith in you before this." said Sarah, a teenager in Idaho who occasionally idolized Steve, but no longer does.

Beth Mackley of Manitou Springs had tough words as well: "I don't get it. For you to supposedly be against foofy things and there you are with strawberry cream cheese. That's pathetic! It sounds like your words need to catch up with your actions, my friend."

Steve immediately went into "damage control" and tried to explain the situation (adjacent photo), but to no avail.

"Look, they didn't have regular cream cheese and it was either (strawberry), smoked something or veggie. I didn't have much of a choice." Steve explained, as he began to eat a Boston Kreme doughnut.

Sadly, the negative feedback continued to pour in.

"That's just gross." said Florida Pete of Jacksonville, Florida, a regular visitor of the forums.

"If you had been thinking you would have ordered Onion and Chive cream cheese!" added Sarah in Idaho.

This embarrassing incident happened at the very same Dunkin' Donuts franchise where three years earlier, a group of troubled and rebellious teenagers met and taunted Steve because of their jealousy over this web site.

"Look, if you want to make a big scandal about this stupid thing, that's fine." snapped Steve, "Go ahead and have your political media circus and I hope you all feel good about yourselves."

Steve's eating habits have been frequently covered on this web site, including his corn and pears dinner, his eating of "bad toast" and yogurt and him vomiting after foolishly eating two root beer floats for breakfast one morning.
