Raspberry Yogurt & "Bad Toast" Eaten For Dinner

(Steve's Questionable Eating Practices Reaches A New Low)

July 11, 2004

MANITOU SPRINGS, CO -- Raspberry yogurt and toast, anyone?

Steve "ColoradoGuy" Garufi reportedly ate raspberry yogurt and "bad toast" for dinner last night, a highly questionable mix of food after just hiking three fourteeners earlier in the day. The news further spotlights the questionable, if not pathetic, eating practices of the so-called "Internet personality."

"There wasn't any mold on the bread, so I figured it was okay to eat." explained Steve, who admitted that the smashed and deformed loaf of bread had been sitting in his refrigerator for three to four weeks.

Steve does have another large package of spaghetti in his kitchen cupboard (see photo below), but he somehow misplaced his one stainless steel pot while moving to his new apartment. With no other kitchenware, Steve has been unable to cook his spaghetti and has relied heavily on his microwave and toaster.

"You mean you have nothing else in your cupboards (besides yogurt and bread) ... at all?" asked Amy Harrington of Colorado Springs.

"Eewwwwwwwwwww! That's disgusting!" exclaimed two-time Ex-Hair Consultant Donna in Manitou Springs, "Where did you find the bread? Under your couch?!" (Note: Alluding to Steve's propensity towards messiness.)

Steve's eating habits have often been publicized on this web site. Last winter, Steve's consumption of two root beers floats for breakfast and his consequent vomiting provoked strong reactions from web site viewers. Also, he has gathered daily consecutive streaks for eating spaghetti (6 days) and drinking Vanilla Cokes (27 days).
