Leaves Turn Golden Yellow in Teller County - September 22, 2001
Bright Yellow Leaves! Simply amazing! Teller County is well-known for bright yellow trees in the fall, especially along Route 67.
Zoom in on a few leaves on the ground I absolutely love this picture! You know, sometimes I wonder if I should be a photographer.
Wow wow wow! More yellow! Look at those leaves! I traveled on a beautiful, rural dirt road that lead to a campground area with hiking trails.
A Large Rocky Butte in Teller County I will admit that after living in New Hampshire for 2 1/2 years, I'm a little spoiled from the oranges and reds that those forests display. Yet my senses very much enjoyed the bright expression of Teller County's high country.
Stream in Teller County Really beautiful.
Stream in Teller County By the way, all of these pictures were taken above 9,000 feet elevation.
Never found the Crags trail I couldn't find the trail to "The Crags," but I still had a good hike. Here are some other "adventures" from Teller County:
  • Victor
  • Cripple Creek
  • Tres Hombres in Woodland Park
  • Lauren's Cabin
  • Never found the Crags trail This one I actually took in Woodland Park, along Route 24.
