Leaves Turn Golden Yellow in Teller County - September 22, 2001
Simply amazing! Teller County is well-known for
bright yellow trees in the fall, especially along Route 67. |
I absolutely love this picture! You know, sometimes I wonder if I should be a photographer. |
Look at those leaves! I traveled on a beautiful, rural dirt road that
lead to a campground area with hiking trails. |
I will admit that after living in New Hampshire for 2 1/2 years, I'm a little spoiled from the oranges and reds that those forests display. Yet my senses very much enjoyed the bright expression of Teller County's high country. |
Really beautiful. |
By the way, all of these pictures were taken above 9,000 feet elevation. |
I couldn't find the trail to "The Crags," but I still had a good hike. Here are some other "adventures" from Teller County: Victor Cripple Creek Tres Hombres in Woodland Park Lauren's Cabin |
This one I actually took in Woodland Park, along Route 24. |
